How to Download the FarmWizard Android App
This video shows you the steps you need to make to download the Farmwizard Android app to an Android device.
Prerequisites:
Find and select the Google Play Store icon on your android device. Use the search function in the top right hand corner and type in ‘farmwizard’.
This will bring up the green icon for Farmwizard Bluetooth. Select this. It will then give you the installation details, press on the ‘install’ button. This will then make a pop up screen appear which will ask your permission to use Bluetooth connections, press accept. This will start the app download. Depending on your internet connection speed this should only take a few seconds.
You can leave this screen and use your device as normal. In your app screen you will find the Green Farmwizard icon now available to use.
The first time you use this app you will need to enter your Username and Password. If you don’t currently have a Farmwizard account you can select ‘Register Me Now’ option instead of logging in.
The first message you will receive is a prompt that there is no database, select the OK option to Sync. The next message is a prompt to remind you that you must be connected to the internet to synchronise. Tap ‘OK’ to this screen also. Once complete you will receive a message confirming the database has updated and it will also confirm the app has loaded data entry lists. Once you have seen both of these messages you know your synchronisation has been successful.
Now you will see your home screen displayed with all the buttons to access the data entry screens and your records, including the number of animals at the top of your screen. If this is a brand new account this will read as zero animals until you add them to your Farmwizard app. You can either add these manually or use your stick reader to import the data.
